Rob Roy

The Rob Roy is a variation on the Manhattan and was named after a New York Operetta about the Scottish hero himself.

This cocktail is another riff on the Manhattan, a classic that gets sampled more than Run DMC’s Here We Go. The Rob Roy was named after a New York Operetta about the Scottish hero and calls for blended scotch whisky and two types of bitters. Fittingly, the result is a smokier and grittier take on the original.
