Here’s a drink that will make you take back every snarky thing you’ve said about a sugar rim, the Sidecar. If you haven’t yet been convinced to add cognac to your home bar, this easy-to-make cocktail will do it — just add some orange liqueur and fresh lemon juice, and you have an invigorating drink.

Martini Glass or Cocktail Coupe

Mixing Shaker, Jigger, Strainer, Fruit Peeler

Ingredients

60ml Cognac

20ml Orange Liqueur

20ml Lemon Juice

Method

In a mixing shaker add cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice. Add ice and shake for approximately 12 seconds. Strain into a chilled and sugar rimmed martini glass or cocktail coupe and garnish with a orange twist.
