Peychaud's Bitters, crafted in 1803, has become a cornerstone of cocktail making. In 1832, Peychaud opened his apothecary in New Orleans, introducing locals to his bitters. After experimenting with adding his bitters to brandy, his concoction grew to become a bar staple.
