Founded in 1870, Casa Herradura stands as the sole remaining tequila-producing hacienda in existence. It was here that the groundbreaking reposado and extra añejo varieties were invented, forever transforming the tequila landscape. The brands famous horseshoe logo has its origins in a story involving Aurelio López Rosales, finding one while working in the agave field. It’s intentionally displayed upside down on every bottle, signifying that pouring a drink brings luck.
