Tequila Fortaleza, born in 2005, boasts a legacy dating back 150 years. While the distillery boasts extensive renovations its methods are centuries-old, including a small brick oven for agave cooking, a tahona for juice extraction, wooden tanks for fermentation, and the original copper pots for distillation.
